Hamarkameratene (Ham-Kam, or HamKam which is a registered trademark, other spellings are variants of this mark) wasfounded in 1918, and is Hamar's leading football club. 

The team plays its home games at Briskeby, and the supporter club has the name Briskebybanden.

I 1969 rykket klubben for første gang opp til norsk fotballs høyeste nivå, og oppnådde året etter sin hittil største sportslige prestasjon da laget debuterte med bronsemedalje i serien.
